Shear Beam Load CellsSingle Ended Shear Beam Load Cell Model MTI-4856-SBSTANDARD CAPACITIES: 500 lb., 1.5K, 2.5K, 4K, 5K, 10K This precision load transducer uses the latest in sensor technology. The 4856 utilizes a true nitrogen filled hermetic seal to survive the hostile environments that industry can offer. The Model 4856 shear beam has an innovative design that enables it to survive 200% overload or shock loading, that would destroy ordinary load cells. Calibration of the Model 4856 is traceable to The National Institute of Standards Technology (NIST). Each sensor is thoroughly tested and is calibrated to meet or exceed NIST standards of performance. A welded 1/4" NPT conduit fitting is provided with a water tight cable. * Gage-Seal IITM is a proprietary sealant. It’s unique properties offer strain gauges long term protection from the penetration of hydroscopic moisture during changes in barometric pressure. ** M-Seal 3TM coating offers a high level of resistance in acidic or alkaline environments. With a thickness between 6 -10 mil., the flexible non-porus coating will increase the life of the load cell without performance degradation. In extreme environments, additional TeflonTM cable may be desirable. M-Seal 3TM is suitable for incidental food contact in USDA facilities. FEATURES
