RS232 to TCP/IP Converters

There are many companies making RS232 to TCP/IP converters. For 1 to 2 serial ports, these usually sell for $300-$500 (more ports are available). The Lantronix MSS1 and the Z-World EM1000 data converters are a couple of options. Another option is TCP/com software from MTI. This is much less costly than a converter box but you will need to attach your serial RS232 device to a Windows PC connected to the TCP/IP network.

Compatibility Requirements:

TCPWedge is a 32 bit application for Windows 95 and NT only. Use it to communicate with any Windows 95 or NT application program. Minimal systems requirements only for TCPWedge itself. However if you are communicating with another application, such as Excel, you will need enough memory and RAM for that application.
